Position: Senior Sales Executive

Our client , a leading provider of risk management products and services
helps investors better understand and manage the risks inherent in their
financial portfolios.

Our client is immediately seeking a Senior Sales Executive to represent a
suite of market leading risk management, corporate governance and financial
research tools to a variety of financial services companies.

The firm`s sales organization consists of approximately 60 professionals
selling all products to segments including Investment Banking, Banking,
Brokerage, Private Banking, Asset Management, Treasury, Corporate and
Alternative Investment. Sales people are responsible for generating new
revenue, within existing relationships and new clients, and achieving a
greater than 90% renewal rate of current business. Sales people require an
in-depth understanding of clients` business processes and strategic goals,
and how the company`s offerings can positively impact them.

A thorough knowledge of capital markets, team leadership skills and an
ability to efficiently use internal resources such as research and product
management are key to succeeding. Sales people must be adaptable, able to
quickly recognize the opportunity and work at `C` level.

As the company continues to rapidly grow, sales range from single user
applications to enterprise wide ASP solutions. Most business pitches involve
representatives from several areas of the company in a team-based approach.
Sales people coordinate these; it is key for them to be consummate team
players.

Performance is based on achievement of quarterly revenue targets. Each sales
desk (a desk focuses on a particular segment) runs as a business. It is up
to the individual desk to communicate across management, marketing and
product development to ensure internal resources are allocated in a way to
best deliver on customer requirements, and hence build revenue.

Key Objectives:
` Achievement of revenue goals
` Identify and close sales prospects
` Recommend to management opportunities for partnerships that can drive
sales
` Identify alliances and distribution channels

Responsibilities Include:
` Growing current customer revenue
` Continual market assessment for management
` Detailed revenue reporting and forecasting
` Work closely with function heads and marketing manager to develop
product marketing plan
` Attend relevant industry events
` Support development of sales and support literature
` Monitor customer satisfaction

Performance Measurements:
` Achievement of forecast revenue and profitability for segment
` Achievement of company annual revenue targets
` Full competitive analysis maintained
` Ability to share information across the sales group
` Communication of market developments to marketing and product team

Background/skill requirements:
` 5 years experience in a financial service provider company or a sales
role in a software or financial service provider company, preferably selling
into asset managers with assets under management over five billion dollars
` Excellent track record in developing new business and growing
established revenue streams
` Excellent presentational skills and inter-personal relationships
` Innovative, customer orientated thinker able to identify and exploit
market niche opportunities
` A team builder and player with emotional maturity
` Absolute personal and business integrity
` Bachelor`s degree, MBA preferred
