WEEK IN REVIEW
=========================================================
1. Microsoft Expands Sharing of Code
From MSNBC.com (Topic: Open Source), Aug. 30:
Microsoft Corp. is expanding a program to give government
organizations access to some of its tightly guarded software
blueprints amid growing competition from rivals who make
such source code freely available.
http://ct.enews.cioinsight.com/rd/cts?d=188-251-1-20-22195-31282-0-0-0-1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. Let's Get Really Small
From Wired.com (Topic: Nanotechnology), Aug. 30:
Few new technologies seem to generate as many headlines
these days as nanotechnology, the field of building things
at scales of billionths of a meter. Major breakthroughs are
coming at a torrid pace. Earlier this month, researchers in
Texas and Australia reported success on an experiment to
build carbon nanotube sheets they believe could be of use in
the technology industry. Meanwhile, scientists in San Diego
and South Carolina developed nano-scale structures that can
function as electrical switches.
3. Wireless Broadband: The Next, Cheap Wave?
From Business Week (Topic: Mobility), Aug. 30:
Just in time for back-to-school shopping, Verizon Wireless
has slashed the price on its high-speed mobile Internet
service. Customers of the No. 2 U.S. mobile-phone carrier
can now browse the Web and download Internet data on
wireless laptops, using its EV-DO, or Evolution-Data
Optimized, technology, for about $60 a month, compared with
$80 previously.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4. Missed Church? Download It to Your IPod.
From The New York Times (Topic: Podcasting), Aug. 29:
(Registration Required)
Kyle Lewis, 25, missed going to church one Sunday last
month. But he did not miss the sermon. Mr. Lewis, who
regularly attends services of the National Community Church
in Alexandria, Va., listened to the sermon while he was at
the gym, through a recording he had downloaded to his iPod.
Instead of listening to the rock music his gym usually
plays, he heard his pastor's voice.
http://ct.enews.cioinsight.com/rd/cts?d=188-251-1-20-22195-31291-0-0-0-1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5. Piracy Crackdown Spurs Shift in Online File-Sharing
From Reuters (Topic: Piracy), Aug. 29:
Traffic in the popular file-sharing network BitTorrent has
fallen in the wake of a crackdown on piracy, but file
sharers have merely shifted to another network, eDonkey, new
data released on Monday showed.
http://ct.enews.cioinsight.com/rd/cts?d=188-251-1-20-22195-31294-0-0-0-1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
6. Researchers: Distorting Biometrics Enhances Security
From CNN (Topic: Biometrics), Aug. 29:
A trick reminiscent of a fun-house mirror might improve the
security and privacy of the access-control technology that
examines fingerprints, facial features or other personal
characteristics.
http://ct.enews.cioinsight.com/rd/cts?d=188-251-1-20-22195-31297-0-0-0-1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7. WiMax: Wireless Pie in Sky or the Next Tech Revolution?
From USA Today (Topic: WiMax), Aug. 29:
On a stormy day at an Argentine agricultural school, Maria
del Carmen Villar stood in front of a camera that streamed
her image over the Internet to a conference in San
Francisco--more than 6,500 miles away.
http://ct.enews.cioinsight.com/rd/cts?d=188-251-1-20-22195-31300-0-0-0-1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8. Caution Marks Outsourcing in China
From eWeek (Topic: Outsourcing), Aug. 29:
Lured by a skilled work force and rock-bottom wages, IT
customers are eyeing China's outsourcers longingly, with one
major misgiving: the risk of losing intellectual property.
To take advantage of the opportunity while still protecting
sensitive data--customer records, proprietary business
practices, patents, copyrights and trade secrets--some U.S.
companies are taking a slow and careful approach to dealing
with Chinese outsourcers.

Top Priority Buy | 4th week August 2005
Universal Guardian launches $19 Billion Safety-Net that will net $Millions for early UGHO shareholders
Buy UGHO now below $1.90 for early share-price triple
My profit projections are becoming reality faster than ever:
2 weeks ago I said buy more Clearant...before a 50% increase.
10 weeks ago I said buy Eden Energy...before a 280% increase.
12 weeks ago I said buy Fellows Energy...before a 130% increase.
Now, my NEXT IMMEDIATE WINNER is Universal Guardian (UGHO OTCBB).
Ive already projected that U.S. Senate Bill 1052, which provides $19 billion for the Transportation Security Improvement Act of 2005, would become law back in May.
Now, before September, Universal Guardian (UGHO) has launched the security system that will win the lions share of this forthcoming national security mandate.
Right now, you can buy UGHO well below $1.90 if you wait to see how right I am, youll undoubtedly pay above $5 within weeks!
My full profit-stock profile on Universal Guardian (UGHO) will be issued in September. For now, I want to put the most crucial information in your hands:
Buy UGHO now up to $1.90 per share
The Transportation Security Improvement Act of 2005 calls for an increase in authorizations of more than $19 BILLION for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) through the year 2008 to address continuing vulnerabilities in the security of our nations various transportation modes.
All Americans were shocked to learn just how lax our aviation security was on September 11. A breach in security at one of our nations busy ports could translate to a nuclear or dirty bomb in the hands of terrorists on U.S. soil.
Did you know that 90% of all world cargo moves by container? In fact, almost half of all incoming trade (in terms of value) arrives in the United States by container.
Of the nearly 9 million cargo containers that arrive in the United States every year, only around 5% are inspected. Under the terms of the Transportation Security Improvement Act of 2005, approximately 50% of containers entering the U.S. will be required to have smart box technology by 2007.
United Guardians (UGHO) Advanced Tracking Technology to Lead Americas New Security Initiatives
UGHOs security system platform combines configurable container modules, international data centers, and a sophisticated supply chain and border security program that:
Provides a cost-effective cargo tagging system, which creates electronic manifests and transmits encrypted cargo manifests to shippers, customers, and Customs.
Tracks cargo container throughout the entire transportation system from point of origin to final destination.
Monitors cargo container position and contents throughout the transportation system in real-time.
Designed to comply with the new Department of Homeland Security "Green Lane" program.
I have been following United Guardians ground-breaking developments since May and I am telling you that NOW is the time to buy this stock.
The company just released its Container Guardian global transportation security system earlier this month. I project that United Guardian will emerge as a leader in this multi-$billion industry.
Translation: You want to own UGHO today Universal Guardian The most innovative security-technology company Ive seen in my entire career. A substantial upward share-price surge is forthcoming.
Buy UGHO now up to $1.90 per share
