They are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager with solid Basel II knowledge. Pay rate is $650-825 day depending on experience. 12 month contract to start/potential to be extended. The Sr. Project/Program Manager will be assigned responsibilities to lead significant areas of the Basel regulatory Common Customer Identifier initiative. The work will be structured in a matrix relationship with several organizations within the company including the business units, Credit Risk, IT, Finance, Audit and others. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with senior leadership to manage scope, status, issues and other aspects of program management. They must ensure that assigned responsibilities are resources adequately, have scope defined, deliverables defined as well as interdependencies defined across projects. They must be able to leverage all Basel II PMO processes including issues management, status reporting, interdependencies, change management, etc.

Requirements: - Ability to think like a business partner and be able to anticipate business needs and questions and proactively address in clear and understandable terms to all levels of business partners. Proven record that suggests superior judgment and maturity working with a collaborative matrixed organization - Recent and successful leadership of high profile projects/programs with broad organizational impacts and significant budgets - Expertise in assembling complex project plans which include many organizational areas with complex interdependencies The location is Richmond, Virginia so a local resource would be preferred, but expenses would be paid for a commuter from another location.
