 The opening requires RUP experience in addition to the above skills.

It is located in Shelton, CT.

Duration 6+ months

This position pays $70.00/hr.

The position will be responsible for the technical program management of integrated hardware and software systems including hardware, embedded software, PC application software and OEM modules. This position includes the technical coordination of “concept-to-customer” development including feature/function requirement(s) definition, architecture, feasibility assessment, development, test and validation, through field deployment.

7 Years supporting the technical coordination of complex system/software product development Demonstrated ability to organize and lead cross-functional concurrent development including embedded software, PC software, mechanical, electrical, as well as understanding and working with marketing and external OEM’s. IT development experience a plus Ability to drive decision-making in line with program objectives and market needs This would include experience in feature definition and trade-off and management of team priorities to preserve business plan commitment Ability to think strategically and provide technical leadership across different technical functions Experienced in problem definition and driving technical analysis and resolution In-depth knowledge of systems integration, electro-mechanical and software development and design optimization Candidate must understand and be able to apply a structured development process approach. Knowledge of Rational Unified Process (RUP) a plus.
