It is located in Brooklyn, NY. Global Investment Bank located in Brooklyn has an immediate contact opportunity for a PMO - STPT

The core responsibilities will include program / project management coverage for STPT. The position will entail support of the local teams in NY but also in providing global program / project support in conjunction with IT & Operations PM counterparts globally.

The position requires communicating with development teams, IT senior management and clients on program related issues, status and metrics; creating and / or helping to create detailed project plans including effort estimates and resource requirements; facilitating and driving discussions in meetings; attending specific client meetings and tracking and communicating issues on all attended meetings; follow-up with responsible parties for resolutions on open issues; implementation of project management processes including, issues, defects and general change management controls; and ensuring that the appropriate methodology, project and application documentation is created. Specific functions include:

(a) Project Initiation

(b) Project Planning and Tracking

(c) Determining and tracking of project issues and risks

(d) Project Communication

(e) Project/Team Meeting Facilitation

(f) Management Reporting; including Status and Metric Reporting.

Skills Required:

• Required Program / project mangement in respect of software application development especially tools & process
• Excellent hands-on MS Project experience; Strong familiarity with MS Office software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter able to execute with minimal supervision, paying close attention to detail
• accurate, tenacious & delivery focused
• Willingness and enthusiasm to execute full range of PM activities from low level tasks (including basic minutes and actions etc) to high level advisory activities.
  
  Skills Desired:
• Financial services knowledge
• Experience of global, large scale mission-critical programs / projects
• Sharepoint knowledge;
