Overall Experience: 07-09 Yrs. 

The Investment Management Division (IMD) is a dynamic, rapidly growing division within Brokerage. As a member of the IMD Technology team, the candidate will develop and support multiple applications across the various IMD businesses, particularly the systems that support Client Fees, Salesperson Payout and Account Receivable functions. In addition to supporting the day-to-day production support tasks of the Billing system, we are in the process of implementing a large-scale system development initiative that will centralize the fee-based billing to one enterprise technology platform that will create standardized operational processes and procedures across the entire Division.

This consultant role requires at least 3-5 years of experience working with a financial services firm; preferably with asset management applications. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle as well as, participate in requirements gathering, database and application component analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. This is a highly visible role in rapidly growing business area.

Job Description - Consultant - Senior Developer 
- Develop and support applications for the Investment Management Division 
- Focus on supporting our existing applications while being involved in systems conversion and databases migration 
- Participation in analysis, design and development of new functionality and modules 
- Work independently with minimal supervision; alternating between high-level and low-level details as the situation dictates 
- Communication with users to gather requirements and understand any issues that may arise 
- Assess existing bodies of work or perform detailed analysis of business flow, designing a system and making suggestions for the improvement of existing systems, seeing things to completion.

Technical skills required: 
- Solid SQL programming skills 
- Web development skills including C#, ASP.NET/ASP, Visual Basic, XML, Java, HTML, and IIS 
- Strong Knowledge of objected-oriented design and analysis 
- Strong Knowledge of relational database techniques and design, preferably SQL server 
- Good knowledge of CVS Source Code Control tool
