Yet according to a study by consulting firm Watson Wyatt, companies that communicate effectively with their employees financially outperform their less communicative peers. Improving communication efforts can result in a nearly 20 percent increase in a company's market value. The most profitable practice was driving managers to communicate effectively (3.8 percent increase in value).
