Position description:
· Responsible for leading project teams in delivering solutions to the customer using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project according to the project charter, project agreement or contract.
· Ensure relevant, realistic and feasible project plans and schedules are developed, resource loaded and followed for all projects.
· Responsible for managing customer satisfaction, scope, cost, schedule, and contractual/project deliverables, which include applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
· Provide day-to-day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer.
· Responsible for coordinating cross-teams/members within the project to ensure all technical areas of the project are addressed.
· This project supports the systems that provide welfare benefits to recipients in the state of WA. Specifically, this includes cash, food and medical programs.
Required skills:
· Individual needs to have Project Management experience, beneficial if candidate has experience managing projects within a Government environment.
· Experience with Rational Tools is a plus. Project Management Professional certification highly desirable SKILL LEVEL Customer Relationships 4, Project Management 5, Technical Rational Tools 4, Communications Oral/Written 5, Multi Task, prioritize, delegation 5, Leadership 5, Government Experience 4
Nice to have skills:
· Responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer.
· Responsible to coordinate teams within the project to ensure all technical areas of the project are addressed.
· Manages risk and issues and is responsible for ensuring actions are taken to mitigate risk and resolve issues.
· Support teams in the execution of plans pertaining to select release/concurrent work items.
