      My name is Jeremy and I'm an IT recruiter at Algomod Technologies Corporation. Our records show that you are an experienced IT professional with experience in project management. This experience is relevant to one of my current openings.

The opening is a contract job located in New York, NY. A Global Investment Bank has an immediate opportunity for a IT Risk Management PMO

The PMO will contribute to successful oversight of the due diligence aspects of the Operational Risk Processes owned by IT Risk Management Operations. By ensuring that all the required elements are appropriately understood, documented, owned, planned and actioned, the PMO will understand and keep current tracking the documentation of Risk Mitigation activities and will develop a plan to track and report those activities, interfacing with internal and external teams to ensure the delivery is met. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Department Risk Sponsors and their teams to understand their processes, issues and provide support.
  • The initial focus will be on ensuring the consolidation and efficiency implementation of the numerous risk mitigation activities
  • Work with other relevant IT groups to ensure coverage, but not duplication, of issues.
  • Work with other relevant IT groups (such as IT Product Management, IT Documentation) to help provide focus on deliverables from these teams.
  • Assist with project management and tracking of mitigation activities - from requirements through to implementation verification.
  • Clearly define project roles and competencies
  • Lead project planning sessions
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures
  • Develop project schedules
  • Apply scope management controls
  • Develop and maintain project scorecards and status reports

    Skills Required:
    The ability to pay attention to detail is a MUST. Excellent oral and written communication skills Self starter with a can-so approach Interest and proficiency in working with large and disparate data and sources Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills Methodical problem solver Familiar with all stages of the development life cycle including requirements, analysis, design, development, deployment and support Ability to identify track issues and coordinate with interdependent areas. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements, dates, priorities. PMO and documentation skills; prior experience with these.

    Skills Desired:
    Prior experience in software development, risk analysis or audit reporting. Knowledge of the Brokerage systems and infrastructure. Managing global projects a plus.
