Futures Operations Technology consists of 42 technology personnel that provide application support and development to over 50 users in Futures Operations globally.

The Futures & Options group provides clients with an execution and clearing brokerage service for exchange-traded derivatives. This encompasses listed commodity, financial and equity futures & options.

With full execution and clearing memberships of all major Futures Exchanges, our global coverage and client service excellence combined place us amongst industry leaders for exchange-traded products.

• Full life cycle development and system support, experience in dealing with external clients and facing off to traders, salespeople and operations. 
• Areas of experience include Exchange Traded Futures and Options. 
• Team player and excellent communications and client focus skills.
• Support all aspects of systems including business analysis, functional requirements, technical development, hardware, system communications, and disaster recovery planning. 
• Manage team of 10 resources with a yearly budget of approximately $3 million.
• Supervise all aspects of GMI system globally.

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years

• In-depth knowledge of Exchange Traded Futures and Options. 
• Ability to manage team of 10 resources with a yearly budget of approximately $3 million.
• Full life cycle development and system support, experience in dealing with external clients and facing off to traders, salespeople and operations. 
• Team player and excellent communications and client focus skills.
• Ability to support all aspects of systems including business analysis, functional requirements, technical development, hardware, system communications, and disaster recovery planning. 
• Ability to supervise all aspects of GMI system globally.
• Ability to liaise with third party vendors

Knowledge of vendor applications:

• SunGard’s GMI
• Rolfe & Nolan
• GL Trade’s ClearVision

Specific technical knowledge:

• Unix, Windows 2003 server
• Java, C# and ASP.net
• Oracle, Sybase and AS400
• MQ
• TOMCAT
• FIXML
