U.S. House seeks to ban Wal-Mart bankingHouse lawmakers this week are expected to introduce a bill that would prohibit retailers such as Wal-Mart Stores and The Home Depot from offering financial services. The bill would prevent companies that aren't already in financial services from forming industrial loan companies.
