And if they can't find the site, they won't use it to conduct any transactions. In a nutshell, that's the importance of search engine optimization (SEO). A site redesign is the ideal time to improve SEO, this author says, as efforts to go back and "fix" it generally are not enough to help a site reach its full traffic-generating potential.
