Stockbrokers push for overtime pay
Stockbrokers push for overtime paySeveral class-action lawsuits against brokerage firms have been launched in an effort to get overtime pay for stockbrokers, although some in the industry say overtime pay is unnecessary since stockbrokers are rewarded through commissions. The Securities Industry Association sees the overtime class-action lawsuits simply as greed tactics by lawyers.
