What CEOs Are Thinking About CIO Update: What CIO doesn't want to know what's on his or her CEO's mind? According to the Conference Board, which surveyed 658 CEOs from 40 countries, 37 percent of chief execs are worried about sustained and steady top-line growth. CEOs' concerns differed somewhat based on their geography, company size, industry and level of success. In the U.S., the top four concerns were: the aforementioned growth, mentioned by 40 percent of respondents; consistent execution of strategy by top mangement (38 percent); customer loyalty/retention (37 percent); and profit growth (27 percent). Other survey highlights are included.
