Position Description:
A Prestigious Financial Institution is seeking a Technical Lead / Project Manager to lead and manage the technical workstreams of the DOX Enterprise software implementation. This is a large team lead role within ESSOC (Enterprise Shared Services Operating Committee) IT concentrating on the DOX system, a global contract management system that enables and manages the negotiations of trading agreements with our trading partners. Finalization and management of trading agreements is a critical component of the overall client on-boarding process and is an essential business function. The DOX system provides technology to initiate trading agreement requests, manage the negotiations process with our counterparties, store the final agreements including scanned images, integrate terms with credit and collateral systems, and provide strategic reporting. This role will require a person who needs minimal guidance, is able to manage a multi-disciplinary technical team consisting of a large number of outsourced developers, can own and manage a technical workplan, can work closely with the Business Analyst team and will participate in some hands-on technical/development tasks as needed.

BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related area.
8-10 years overall IT development and/or software implementation experience.
Prior experience in an investment banking technology division or major consulting organization.
3-4 years experience as a technical team lead or technical project manager with responsibility for managing resources, setting goals, and reviewing technical deliverables.
Prior experience creating and managing project plans for the technical aspects of a project's infrastructure, technical design, development, testing, data migration/interfaces, report development, and production cutover.
Experience with and ability to liaise with architecture, infrastructure, shared service, and release management functions.
Ability to lead and guide outsourced technical resources, including managers, architects and developers; prior experience providing quality reviews to outsourced technical deliverables
Be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle (from analysis and specification through to testing and deployment) but with the emphasis on technical tracks of the project.
Ability to manage permanent and outsourced development resources, including detailed project plans, goal-setting, quality reviews, and knowledge transfer.
Strong knowledge of XML and .NET Technologies;
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including hands-on prior development experience
Strong knowledge of EAI solutions, including hands-on prior development experience.
Strong Object Oriented design & development skills.
Contribute to projects being on schedule and meeting client needs.
Ability to drive decision-making and issue resolution within and across project teams.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
