Citizens Pony Up for Green Energy

Consumers are more and more willing to pay extra for renewable energy, according to an article posted on Wired.com. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, 430,000 households bought "green" power last year, an increase of 20 percent over 2004. Utilities across the country are working to provide alternative forms of energy to customers.
