CALL PROCESSING ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide on-call support for all of Call Processing applications and systems.
Perform daily tasks related to monitoring and health of systems and applications.
Ensure all applications are properly monitored using current monitoring mechanisms and providing information to NOC for new applications/systems that need to be monitored.
Provide resolution and tracking of Call Processing applications.
Deploy call processing application. Staging and testing.
Determine and verify all production defects related to the above applications
Write and review scripts to automate processes, provide checks and display Call Processing data.
Develop and maintain documentation and procedures related to the all applications and systems.
Write procedures for the NOC to handle common tasks.
Troubleshooting any call related issues that may come up, providing ad hoc solutions to fix a customer impacting issue as quick as possible.
Troubleshooting with the Development and QA teams for any new releases of a Call Processing Application

REQUIRED
Knowledge of Linux/Unix --1-3 yrs
Scripting Knowledge -- Perl, PHP, Bash,SQL 1-3 yrs
Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL) 1-3 yrs
Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
Strong Communications skills
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals
Ability to work well independently and on a team.
Experience and flexibility regarding on-call responsibilities.
Creative problem solving abilities.
DESIRED
Experience with VOIP, VOIP equipment, and TDM voice equipment
