PRIMARY FUNCTION:     

 

• Manage short and medium term projects
• Provide functional assistance to various user groups, mostly in the Commercial Bank, concerning both in-house and vendor web-based applications and services
• Streamline front to back organization
• Budget monitoring
• Spec out system enhancements for various IT teams
  
  Main Responsibilities:

 

�        Project management:

�        Act as the primary contact for commercial banking front-office and/or risk management and/or financial management application support issues.

�        Research and resolve application support issues.

�        Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.

�        Maintain contact with Head-Office Business and IT Management to support applications.

�        Define test cases and development/QA environment requirements for bug fixes, enhancements, and new versions.

�        Perform and/or oversee end-user tests in accordance with defined plan.

�        Present test results to the IT Team Leader and users for final approval.

�        Investigate new features of vendor software for applicability.

�        Define user requirements and communicate these requirements to the IT Team Leader.

�        Define functional system interface requirements.

�        Train end-users when new enhancements are deployed.

�        Write user documentation.

�        Ensure that adequate testing and communications with end-users has been performed.

�        Ensure that all systems are adequately prepared for DR.

�        Management of organization changes

�        Functional support to users on systems outsourced either to other entities in Europe or to external vendors

�        Spec out new requirements to be given either to external vendors or IT Group teams

�        Follow up regulatory issues

�        Liaise with Head office in order to roll out Group systems or anticipate organizational changes in term of booking or processing

�        Closely work with IT Manager

�        Continually grow functional and technological skill sets

 

 

 

Required Skills:

�        Strong demonstrated Credit Analysis knowledge

�        Demonstrated experience with managing projects � Experience to include:

 

Functional analysis

Writing specifications

Participation in re-engineering of a specific process including user acceptance and testing

User interaction including the management of client resources

Preparation of training materials, client meeting minutes, etc.

 

�        Must have strong logic and analytical skills

�        Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

�        Must have good organizational and multi-tasking skills

�        Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner and self-motivated

�        Must be able to work productively with minimum supervision

�        Good technical skills � i.e. understanding of technical environments and integration processes

�        French speaking is a plus

 

 

 

Qualifications:

�        Engineer school � MBA degree in Engineering or Economics

�        Minimum of 4 years experience in Credit Analysis with demonstrated experience as noted above
