Basel II Capital Reform initiated by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision will fundamentally overhaul the minimal capital requirement approach. has to adapt to and comply with Basel II based new Swiss capital rules by December2007, mandatory parallel runs of Basel II and Basel I reporting are starting by December 2005.

A redesign of the process is required to ensure ongoing daily compliance with regulatory requirements. Engage with the Business and IT representatives from the relevant feeding systems to understand the details of the positions held

Experience working in the Financial Industry, including Brokerage, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Trading Support, or Investment Services

1. Experience in working on projects that involve specification writing, especially data mapping exercises. These include exercises where data might be converted from one system to another and data from old/legacy systems must be mapped and loaded into new systems or software packages.

2. Experience in building or working extensively with projects where large data bases or data warehouses of financial and trading data are being implemented.

3.. Experience in understanding as wide a range of financial products as possible. These include products such as equities, corporate and treasury bonds, repos, mortgage backed securities, loans, derivatives (include futures, options, fx agreements, interest rates swaps, etc).

4. Understanding of basic accounting concepts
Data Mapping experience desired

The candidate should have extensive experience in testing methodologies and a knowledge of the process of �bug� tracking � from the time it is discovered through to the development fix by IT and the ultimate re-testing by the users.
Technical Specification Writing

2. Basic skills in SQL for Oracle & Sybase

3. MS Office Tools (Word, Excel)

4. Additional MS Based Tools � Visio, MS Project, MS Powerpoint

5. Extensive Testing experience, including experience in developing testing plans, and developing detailed testing results.
