U.S. may be losing appeal with foreign investorsWhite House reports: The U.S. is at risk of losing its popularity with foreign investors, according to the Economic Report of the President. That report, released by the White House Monday, warns that the percentage of U.S. output that can be traced to foreign investment "has stagnated and even declined in recent years," and that it's unclear if "these are benign and temporary trends or whether this development is symptomatic of deeper issues with respect to the attractiveness of the United States as a country in which to make direct investment."
