Okay, so you don’t really care about the environment. But what about your pocketbook? According to a report by Sir Nicholas Stern, Head of the U.K.’s Government Economic Service and former World Bank Chief Economist, climate change will cost to at least 5% of GDP each year—and perhaps as much as 20%, causing major disruptions to world markets and eroding the financial health of even the wealthiest nations. That’s the bad news. The good news? It’s not too late.
