Sick over Health Care IT


A study done by one of the nation's largest claims processing firms
shows
"how well--or poorly--the nation's seven biggest health
insurers pay their
bills." If you've ever had a claim lost, denied
or delayed, you know why
this study is important. Not paying
claims is, a business strategy for some
of these insurers, but it is
also a customer service issue. But the one
thing the article didn't
mention, and I have no idea why, is the role that
technology is,
and is not, playing in this mess.
