Many Post-Katrina Charities Fail to Deliver

Although many new charities were created to help the most needy after Hurricane Katrina, the rush to create more charities "is contributing to what many charity experts say is an overabundance of nonprofit groups, many of which will fail to deliver the support they promised when applying for tax exemption," The New York Times reports.
