***SENIOR FRONT OFFICE DEVELOPER NEEDED***
LOCATION: DOWNTOWN, NYC
DURATION: PERMANENT
SALARY: 115-130K

One of my direct financial clients located downtown, NYC is looking for a Senior Developer to join their Derivatives/IT Group! The client is the largest and most prestigious brokerage house in all of New York. They are very eager to interview ambitious, talented individuals, and I will be sending resumes directly to the hiring manager!

***The ideal candidate has at least 5-7yrs of IT/Business Experience, specializing in any object-oriented language (Java, C++, or C#). In addition, candidate should have 2 years of recent experience working heavily with credit derivatives in the front office. A strong financial/banking background is essential, as well as excellent tenures at previous places of employment. More details are as follows:

Principal Responsibilities:
Analysis Design: working with traders, salespeople and operations analysts, you will define requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing tools; design, develop, test and support systems based on client requirements; collaborate with colleagues in the various derivatives technology teams to refine the common derivatives architecture
Technical/Team Leadership: working with other developers in the Credit Trading Sales technology team, you will lead software projects, participating in reviews of design, code and testing strategies.
Client Relationship Management: enhance and maintain our relationships with trading, sales operations users.

Experience/Skills:
Strong design development skills in one or more procedural or object oriented languages (6+ years). Previous development experience using databases a plus.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills are a must given that the role will involve liasing with traders, salespeople and operations analysts.
Demonstrated experience in developing mission-critical applications
